HOW TO NATURALLY FILL IN YOUR EYEBROWS

HI BABES! Happy September :) Can you believe it because I sure as heck can't?! Where did summer go? I have to admit I am SO excited for fall I can hardly stand it. But FIRST, I wanted to chat a little bit about beauty today! I get tons of messages on Instagram asking how I do my eyebrows. First off, I'm flattered because these eyebrows can be cray cray sometimes but I like to try and make them naturally bold... if that's even a real phrase. (LOL!) So today, I'm going to give you the low down on how I naturally full in my eyebrows using only two products that cost less than $12, combined. Let's get into it, shall we?!

1. BRUSH OUR YOUR EYEBROWS WITH THE SPOOLIE BRUSH

Most eyebrow pencils will have a spoolie brush on the other end. That's the ~fancy~ word for the spiral brush on the end! Haha don't worry it only took me a few years to figure out what that really was called. Spoolie your brows upward! This is SO important because it gets off the excess makeup and gets them ready for the application! I use the LA GIRL BROW PENCIL in the shade Brunette.

2. FILL IN YOUR BROWS: START AT THE BOTTOM

Start shaping your brows by filling in the bottom part at thickest part of your brow. Think where your nose bridge starts. I like to basically outline my bottom by creating the shape I want, making SMALL strokes! This allows for pencil to create natural like fill in, in which the way your hair grows and gives you a good base on where to fill in the rest.

3. FILL IN YOUR BROWS: SHAPE THE TOP

Now shape the top of your brows. Again, small strokes to keep the natural look of the hair! I like to over-draw to create more of an arch since my brows don't have much of one by simply following my natural shape but extending the line beyond. Don't be scared to play with this part. If you get a little too crazy don't worry, there is always make up wipes!

4. FILL IN THE MIDDLE

Now that the bottom and the top of your brow are defined go ahead and fill in the rest of your brow. Keeping that small strokes in mind and in the direction your hairs grow!

5. TOP WITH EYEBROW GEL

This is the secret sauce when it comes to eyebrows! I don't know about you but I have really coarse eyebrow hair so they can get pretty wild sometimes. This gel just keeps everything in place and helps set the pencil you just put on! I use the NYX CONTROL FREAK EYEBROW GEL and it is clear. There are also tinted eyebrow gels if you want to add a little more color or just use it alone on your more relaxed days! See the photo below for my before an after :)
