DAILY MAKEUP ROUTINE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES

Hey beautiful human! I shared with you on my Instagram stories that I bought some new makeup recently and I had a few of you DM me and ask me to keep you posted. Well, to make a long story short, I’m just about obsessed with everything I bought so I thought I’d share my everyday make up routine! These are the products I use day in and day out and I have a wide variety of drugstore products as well as “higher end” products. Let me know if you have any questions! Let’s get into it… :)

  1. Coco Butter Face Oil: This is the first product I use right after washing my face. It’s a Skin Therapy Oil that is full of Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and the most talked about ingredient in skin care, Retinol. It helps with anti-aging which you’re never too young to start using anti-again products but I really started using this oil to help with my Melasma. If you aren’t familiar with the term Melasma, it’s a very common dark, patchy discoloration on the skin and I’m the lucky girl who has it on my upper lip (yay!). Not! A little bit goes a long way so just a few dots before moisturizing will not only nourish your skin but help your makeup go on sooooo smooth!

  2. Bare Minerals Primer: I just recently became a primer spokeswoman but man does this stuff do the trick. It really helps my makeup stay on throughout the day and creates an evenly smooth surface for my foundation. It is super lightweight and absorbs easily into your skin! I apply about a dime size.

  3. NARS Sheer Glow Foundation: Let me just start off by saying I’ve never ever ever spent this much money on a foundation but holy sh*t is it SO worth it!! It’s a buildable foundation (hints the sheer glow name) so depending on how much you apply you can get anything from a mid to full coverage. I’m more of a mid coverage girl so I pour a little on the back of my hand and do about 5 dots on my face. I apply mine with this IT COSMETICS buffing foundation brush and this is what makes it look so natural. It doesn’t absorb a ton of the product so this foundation will last a long time. The color I use is Vallaruis which is more for people with pink undertones.

  4. Tarte Concealer: This concealer has changed my life! I’m not being dramatic guys, it’s actually THAT good. I use the shade light-medium honey and again this product will last for-ev-er because a little dab will do you! (That was so Indiana of me to say.) I apply three little dots under each eye, three dots above the middle of my eyebrows, and one dot on my chin and blend with this Real Techniques concealer brush. The reason I add the concealer to my forehead along with my chin is to evenly brighten up my face. If you only apply it under your eyes, then you will look like a scary person, trust me I’ve done it before and it wasn’t pretty.

  5. NYX Setting/Finishing Powder: Ever wonder how people seem to have flawless foundation? Well, girlfriend, it’s because they probably use setting power. I LOVE this one because it’s translucent so it applies neutral, so it works for all skin tones. And the best part is… it’s less than $10!! It’s basically magic in a jar.

  6. BECCA Bronzer: I have a bit of a rounder face shape so bronzer is key for me. I apply it to my cheekbones, forehead, and jawline. This is on the bit of the pricer side but it gives such amazzzzing coloring with a hint of shimmer. I’m using the color Bronzed Bondi but if you have a lighter skin tone I would recommend Capri Coast.

  7. MAC Blush: I apply this to the apples of my cheeks to make my face come alive!

  8. LA Girl Brow Pencil: Okay guys this is my best kept secret in my makeup bag!! This eyebrow pencil is VERY VERY VERY similar to Anastasia Brow Wiz for get this… $5.99. It has a super thin tip to create natural strokes and a spoolie end to brush and blend. I use the color Brunette.

  9. Benefit Cosmetics Mascara: I can never commit to just one mascara so I am constantly alternating what I use. Right now, I’m currently obsessed with this Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash. The brush grabs, separate, and lifts your lashes and holds all day long!

  10. Lip Color: I am in lovvvvvvve with E.L.F Cosmetics Matte Lippies. They are not only matte but they are extremely moisturizing and best of all, $3!! That's right, $3 bucks ya'll!
